Day to Day: New Credit Cards
Imagine for a moment, that you have a couch in your livingroom that has tons of storage compartments built into it. This translates into a very heavy couch when filled (which it always is because you live in a small house) and naturally it’s backed up against a wall. Now imagine your 18 month old gets a hold of your wallet and sits on the couch. You don’t mind because it keeps her busy, and it’s not like you have any money in there anyway. Ten minutes later you collect the contents of your wallet strewn about the couch. You find every never-used store card, no-time-to-be-used restaurant gift card, rarely-used debit cards, but one card is missing. Your favorite credit card (you know, the one with the lowest interest rate) has fallen between the couch and the wall.
Do you….
A) Take the time to remove everything out of the storage containers so hubby can move the couch.
B) Try the old ‘gum on a wire’ method and spend hours trying to fish the card out.
C) Take this as a sign to pay off debt and only use your debit cards.
D) Don’t hesitate to call and just have a new card issued.
I mean it’s almost Christmas folks….and no parents got time for A and B….
